Gracie Hyde, a graduate student-athlete at Adams State, finished fifth in the fastest section of the women's invitational 1,500 meters in a lifetime-best 4:08.95 at the Bryan Clay Invitational at Azusa Pacific University's Cougar Stadium in Azusa, Calif. Hyde smashed the NCAA Division 2 record of 4:11.06 established in 2010 by Seattle Pacific's Jessica Pixler. Only former Cal Poly San Luis Obispo standout Teena Colebrook has run faster on the Division 2 all-dates list with her 4:07.69 effort in 1990 in Germany. More videos |
