Senior Christine Kent, a South Carolina transfer, and junior Elaine Ribeiro placed second and fifth for San Diego State in the women's 5-kilometer race at the Mark Covert Classic at Carbon Canyon Regional Park. Kent clocked 17:52.8 and Ribeiro ran 18:06 to help the Aztecs place second behind host Cal State Fullerton by a 41-74 margin.
